Microsoft's most significant update since the launch of the OS has now been given a date for the average Windows user will receive it. The update, known under the name of Threshold 2, will make its introduction at the beginning of November.

That could well be a hindrance to let people migrate into the new browser. If they can not take their favorite extensions to Edge, which is not so attractive.
